The sculptures reflect the layers created over time in people and in nature. Sometimes the true essence and origin is deep inside, and the outward appearance only gives indications, if even that. The characters are connected to each other, reflecting continuity and mutual influence, but nevertheless carry their own burden independently.
Through the small openings, a hollow interior opens up, i.e. possibly a peek into the most genuine and essential.
