UURRE

The carved shapes and grooves of the UURRE mirror frames have a clear direction and either run away from the center of the mirror or are on their way there, at the same time focusing the viewer on the mirror as the center of everything.

In the shapes, there are references to the grooves created on the surface of the rock over thousands of years, the terrain bordering the pond that doubles as a calm water surface , the organic cross-section of the tree and the deep furrows in the base of the tree, which change radically as you progress from the root system upwards.
